Carlisle's 4037800 Sparta Meteor 2" Pastry/Basting Brush is ideal for applying egg-wash, butter, sauce and other liquids to baked goods and meats. This brush features a durable plastic handle with a molded in hook to keep the bristles from touching the countertop or the bottom of a hot pan. Also, the doubled-boiled, bleached and sterilized boar hair bristles provide superior coverage and can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
