Hobart's AM15VL-2 Ventless Door Type Dishwasher gives you three main advantages. The first is that bleach is not discharged into the sanitary sewer system; the second is that a ventilation hood is not required with this dishwasher; and the third advantage is a savings of up to $1,568 per year because of reduced energy consumption. The energy recovery condensing cycle is unique in that it captures water vapor (or steam) front he wash cycle and condenses it to heat the incoming cold water. This preheated water reaches a temperature of 140 degrees, significantly reducing the amount of energy needed to raise it to the required 180 degrees rinse water temperature. Operators also tend to smile more and can easily see out of glasses since they are no longer fogged with steam! This dishwasher uses only .74 gallons of water per rack and can accommodate 40 racks per hour using hot water sanitation. The solid state controls with digital status indicators provide the management of the wash and rinse cycles. After each cycle it fills automatically to reduce downtime, and the wash cycle begins as soon as the door closes. The stainless steel wash and rinse arms are both interchangeable and removable. A booster heater is included in this model type.
