Hoshizaki SR27B-8 Steelheart Sandwich Top Refrigerator, 27", 1-Section

The Hoshizaki SR27B-8 Steelheart Series Sandwich Top Refrigerator is a compact, high-performance prep unit designed for commercial kitchens. Measuring 27" wide, this one-section reach-in refrigerator features a self-contained rear-mounted refrigeration system and is engineered to maintain food-safe temperatures even in ambient conditions up to 100°F. It includes a solid stainless steel door with a spring-assisted, self-closing mechanism and stay-open feature, plus one adjustable epoxy-coated wire shelf.

The top rail accommodates up to eight 1/6-size pans (4" deep) and can accept 6" deep pans for increased capacity. A 27" x 10" x 1/2" thick white polyethylene cutting board is included, along with a full set of clear polycarbonate pans and adapter bars. The stainless steel prep guard is removable for easy cleaning. The unit is built with a stainless steel exterior and interior, insulated with 2" CFC-free foamed-in-place polyurethane, and features an enamel-coated evaporator coil for extended life.

Additional features include front-breathing air flow design, magnetic door gasket, field-reversible door, and four 6" stem casters (two with brakes). It operates on 115V with a NEMA 5-15P plug and consumes 2.54 kWh/day. The SR27B-8 uses eco-friendly R290 refrigerant and is ETL Safety and Sanitation listed, Georgia Made Certified, and backed by a 7-year warranty on parts, labor, and compressor.
