The granddaddy of peelers, Hobart's 6460-1 Peeler can efficiently peel 50-60 pounds of potatoes or root vegetables in one to three minutes. The peeler is constructed with seam-welded stainless steel and heavy duty plastic components. The 20.5" silicon carbide abrasive is permanently bonded to the disk, providing unequaled long life. The disk can be easily removed and cleaned. A water inlet provides self-cleaning and washing of the food product while the five minute timer can be adjusted from 1/2 minute up to the full five minutes. The V-belt drive provides consistent direct speed reduction between motor and peeling disc. The stainless steel drive shaft has an advanced design for long life and performance.
