Safety You Can Count On: The Edge12-11 Meat Slicer offers added protection with every slice. Two safety features you can count on are the permanently mounted ring guard which guards the blade during operation and cleaning, and the rear-mounted removable meat grip which keeps the meat in place while slicing.

Easy to Maintain: Hobart's Edge12 Slicer has a 1/2 HP knife motor that drives the knife for clean, precise slices without shredding. The poly V-belt drive system is designed for quiet operation and is more economical to service and repair with reduced parts and service time. The 12" diameter chrome-plated, carbon steel knife can be easily sharpened with the top-mounted ceramic stone. The single action stone sharpens in approximately five seconds.

Easy to Clean:The Hobart Edge slicer is designed for easy cleaning. The single-piece anodized aluminum base leaves few cracks, crevices where product can lodge and bacteria can grow. It can be quickly wiped down and the removable anodized aluminum carriage and knife cover can be put into a three-compartment sink for more thorough cleaning. The ceramic sharpening stone and slice deflector are also removable and submersible.
