Even if the contents of your bag are completely compostable, the entire package may not be suitable for composting. By using compostable bags, you can do even more to protect the environment. BioStar liners meet the ASTM D6400 standards for compostable plastics for use in commercial facilities. BioStar liners have been tested and certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute in conjunction with the US Composting Council. Only tested and certified products are permitted to use the BPI Compostable label.
